Hi there Reader
Remember when I asked you last week about your go-to winter holiday survival strategy?
Well, you didn't disappoint!
Here are some of my favourites:
๐ฌ "Shopping centre playground rotation - Chadstone Monday, Eastland Tuesday... I have a spreadsheet. Don't judge me." - Michelle, Doncaster
๐ฌ "Baking disasters are my secret weapon. Sure, my kitchen looks like a bomb went off, but they're occupied for ages and we get something edible (usually) at the end." - Kate, Hawthorn
๐ฌ "I've mastered the art of 'adventure walks' to the shops. We pretend we're explorers, they get exercise, I get groceries. Win-win!" - James, Richmond
I particularly like these ideas because I know keeping the kids entertained without breaking the bank is the ultimate parenting challenge!
That's why in this newsletter edition I'm focusing on activities that are either free or budget-friendly (think tickets around $25 or less).
Because who says epic winter adventures have to cost a fortune?
Speaking of budget wins, check out this reel where I share 5 family activities in Melbourne for under $20.
Got any more tricks up your sleeve? Hit reply - I'm always collecting parent wisdom.
P.S. Speaking of free things to do - our Tot Readers Party waitlist is open, but not for long. If you want to join us for a FREE ice skating party on Friday 11 July 10am at The Rink on Watton in Werribee ๐ click here to join the waitlist and avoid FOMO.
